you with the latest news and information!This site contains information about
the four villages in the ward; Argoed, Hollybush, Manmoel and Markham, as
well as: News, Events, Photos, Useful Contacts, Local History.

You will be able to access minutes of USV Partnership and sub-group meetings
and also copies of The Messenger, both past and present editions.Additionally
you will be able to download Communities First Trust Fund application forms
should you wish to apply for a grant.

Development of the USV area is dependant on obtaining funding from the Welsh Assembly Government. Annually, the USV has access to £20,000.00 Trust
Fund money. If you are a constituted community group and wish to access a
portion of this amount, up to £5,000.00, please contact either Russell or
Danielle for assistance.

If you would like to have more say in what goes on in your community, there are
a number of ways you can constructively voice your opinions. The USV has a
main Partnership board, which meets on a six-weekly basis (meetings dates
are advertised on this site), and also sub-groups, which address more specific issues, i.e., Anti Vandalism and Pollution Sub-Group, Health and Well-Being
Sub-Group, Newsletter and Website Sub-Group (dates are also advertised
on this site). The sub groups are in need of more attendees, so please
feel free to attend at your leisure.
