Welcome to the Cefn Fforest Communities First Partnership website, providing you with the latest news and information about Communities First in Cefn Fforest.
Communities First is the Welsh Assembly Government’s flagship programme intending to regenerate deprived communities in Wales.
The Cefn Fforest Partnership is instrumental in this, via revenue funding from WAG and accessing grants. It is comprised of volunteers and members of the Cefn Fforest community as well as officers from organisations within the voluntary, statutory and private sectors.
The Partnership meets on a six-weekly basis (meetings dates are advertised on this site) with sub-groups addressing more specific issues between meetings. The Partnership's sub-groups are:
- Crime & Community Safety sub-group
- Newsletter & Website sub-group
- Youth sub-group
- EcoPark sub-group
