For the last 8 years local residents have strived to improve and protect the land to the rear of Dylan Avenue – called the ‘Eco Park’ – under the banner Cefn Fforest & Fairview Association for Community and Environment.

We have been successful in attracting funding to improve the area and to provide an interesting area for school children and local people to walk and participate in the workshops and fun days. We would like to make further improvements with the help of additional funds but we need your help urgently.

Would you like to become a ‘Friend of the Eco Park’? We cannot pull in as much funding without demonstrating community support for the Eco Park. What better way of demonstrating this than lots of ‘Friends’!

We invite anyone interested in supporting the Eco Park to pay a membership of £1.00 each year and this will go towards keeping you informed with a news bulletin, advertising activities and updating you all on the progress of funding applications we make to help with the Eco Park’s development.

If you wish to register your interest in becoming a Friend please fill in the form contained in this newsletter and return to any of the people below, who can also provide additional membership forms if necessary, Membership forms will also be available from the Cefn Fforest Post Office, Cefn Fforest Avenue. Please access the Local News pages for related stories.
